The Calmer Shores CardHeading for better water. Not there yet, and I’d rather be honest about that.
  • Moving on to calmer shores
  • Still in the choppy water
  • Heading toward improvements
In a reading

Moving on to calmer shores. Truly a good card, and you’re not out of the rough water yet.

Deeper meaning

They’re still in choppy waters

Moving on to calmer shores. That’s the phrase I use for this card and I use it almost every time. It’s a good card. But they’re still in choppy waters, and I’d rather say that than oversell it, because this is heading toward improvement rather than having got there. Two details people miss. They’re leaving with only the clothes on their backs, and I read that as the cost of the crossing rather than a tragedy. And the man steering is a guide who moves back and forth between the choppy waters. He’s done this trip before. So help is available, and it knows the route.

In the good stuff

You’re reaching calmer shores, with a guide who has made the crossing before.
