Maintenance, not struggle, Pisces. You have already proven you can make it happen once. The work now is believing you are worth it without grinding yourself down.
You have been at the top of the mountain long enough, Aquarius. Come down and show people what you are good at, and dig deeper than the surface.
Progress may feel like stop and start right now, Capricorn. Those frustrating pauses are where the pressure builds, and that is usually right before a breakthrough.
Do not be surprised if someone from your past turns up, Sagittarius. Old coworker, old classmate. Follow your heart on it and stop overthinking what people think.
Loosen your grip, Scorpio. The things you are trying to force are the ones stuck, and letting go of the outcome usually gets you there faster.
Things may have gotten a little too mundane, Libra. Go do something slightly wild, a trip or a creative project, just do not rush the big decisions.
You do not need the whole map, Virgo. Move toward what actually excites you and learn the middle part as you go.
You are dreaming about five outcomes instead of finding out, Leo. Pick the one you actually want and go far enough to see what happens.
Raise the bar on what comfort means to you, Cancer. Your old standard was set by an older version of you, and you have outgrown it.
You are good at the unexpected move, Gemini, so make it. Whatever you are building deserves some showmanship, not another polite version of what already exists.
Pressure has a way of building quietly, Taurus. Channel it early, ask someone for help, and you skip the part where it blows up on you.
A little hermit time is not avoidance, Aries. If you are building something, protecting your peace matters more right now than being available to everybody.

Take the Fool’s Journey Through the Major Arcana
Playing now. Click anywhere to pause and look closer.
What is the Fool’s Journey?
The 22 Major Arcana are not 22 separate cards. Read in order they tell one story. Someone sets out knowing nothing, meets the people and the problems that shape him, loses what he was carrying, and arrives somewhere he could not have pictured at the start. Then it begins again.
Every card below is a stage of that story. It is why the order matters, and why the same card can mean something different depending on where you are standing when you get it.

Who’s Behind Minnow Pond Tarot
Chris Reck reads tarot the way he’d talk to a friend, direct, no fluff, no fear-mongering over hard cards. Just straight answers about what’s actually going on and what to do next.
People ask what deck he reads with more than anything else. Here are Chris’s favorites.

Questions People Ask Chris
The short answers, straight from him.
Does Chris do personal or private readings?
No, Chris does not do personal readings. Every reading he does is public, right here on the site and on his YouTube channel @MinnowPondTarot, free for anyone who wants it. If someone contacts you offering a private or paid reading as Chris Reck, it is not him.
Will Chris ever message me asking for money?
Never. Chris will never message you first, never ask you for payment, gift cards, or personal information, and never offer a paid reading in your DMs. He has four official accounts and they are all linked at the bottom of every page on this site: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Anything else claiming to be him, especially an account that messages you first, is not him. When in doubt, come back here and use the footer links. Impersonator accounts show up constantly on Instagram, Facebook, and in YouTube comments. The accounts linked at the bottom of this page are the only real ones. If you are not sure, check there first.
What’s the difference between a collective reading and my sign’s reading?
Your sign reading is for you and everyone else born under that sign, and a new one goes up every week. Sign readings are generally for your sun, moon and rising signs, but you can watch for any of your placements.
Collective readings are not tied to a sign at all. They are topic related, whether that is a specific astrological event or a question Chris keeps seeing repeat in the comments. These tend to find you when you need them most.
How often are new readings posted?
Every sign gets two readings a week, plus a bonus collective reading four times a week. The schedule can change at any time.
- Saturday Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer, Virgo
- Sunday Taurus, Capricorn, Gemini, Aquarius
- Monday Libra, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
- Tuesday Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer water
- Wednesday Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn earth
- Thursday Gemini, Libra, Aquarius air
- Friday Aries, Leo, Sagittarius fire
I am new to tarot. Where should I start?
Start with the Fool’s Journey further up this page. It walks you through the Major Arcana one stage at a time, in order, so the cards start to make sense as a story instead of 78 things to memorize. After that, the Complete Tarot Guide has every card explained, plus two spreads so you can pull a reading right now.
Can I learn to read tarot myself?
Yes, and faster than most people think. The Ultimate Tarot Masterclass is how Chris actually teaches it. No memorizing 78 meanings by heart, no fluff. You pull your first real reading on day one.
What are Chris's favorite decks and books?
Not yet. Until then, here are the decks and books he actually uses, including the tarot and oracle decks he reads with and the one book he recommends above all others.
