On the Star, the woman is pouring water into what I call the pool of universal consciousness — she’s sending her wishes out into it, telling the universe what she wants. This card comes after the Tower, so it’s often about healing after a Tower moment.
The water she pours onto the land flows out to the whole world, which says what’s possible for one person is possible for everyone. There’s an ibis here too, a bird of knowledge, which can mean getting a bird’s-eye view of your situation so you can actually put it into perspective and accomplish it.
