The Hierophant has three stages to his crown and three to his staff — initiation, apprenticeship, and mastery. Sometimes they’re right in that in-between zone, which can feel like a dip right before a breakthrough — so I read this as a motivational card too. Don’t quit right before you gain mastery. He’s also blessing the two people in front of him, so the Hierophant can represent receiving blessings in your life.
