The Hanged Man is hanging from the tree of knowledge and wisdom, having sacrificed movement to gain it. That’s sometimes exactly what life asks of us too — give up the movement for a while so you can actually learn something. His head is glowing, which tells me he’s already gained the enlightenment he needed.
So the real point of this card is that it’s time for him to get down. He doesn’t need to keep hanging there. He can set himself free and get back out into the world to put what he’s learned into action.
