The Blessing in Disguise CardSomething is dead, done and over with, and that is the good news.
  • Something is dead, done, over with
  • A blessing in disguise
  • Letting go of it
In a reading

Something is over. I read this as a blessing nearly every time, so the only question left is how long you hold on.

Deeper meaning

He’s making a symbol with his hand

This card looks dramatic and I’m upbeat about it, more than almost any other one in the deck. Something is dead, done, over with. Then look at his hand. He’s making this symbol with his hand and it represents a blessing. It’s the same gesture the Hierophant makes over the two people in front of him, which is how I know what it means. So the ending is being blessed by the person it happened to. That’s why I call it a blessing in disguise basically every time it comes up. The ending is complete whether or not you accept it, so the only thing left to decide is how long you hold on.

In the good stuff

The ending is a blessing and you can already see why.
