“Certain things catch your eye, but pursue only those that capture the heart.”

“Write It Down, Make It Happen” by Henriette Anne Klauser

This Book Will Change Your Life
You all always ask for book recommendations and this is a favorite of mine!

“Write It Down, Make It Happen” by Henriette Anne Klauser is a self-help book that encourages readers to harness the power of writing to achieve their goals and dreams. With a focus on practical tools and real-life examples, the book offers valuable insights and strategies for anyone looking to take control of their lives and make positive changes.

The book begins by emphasizing the importance of setting clear and specific goals. According to Klauser, vague or general goals are more difficult to achieve because they lack a clear direction and purpose. By contrast, writing down specific, measurable, and achievable goals helps individuals clarify their desires and create a plan of action to achieve them. Klauser offers a variety of techniques and exercises to help readers identify and articulate their goals, including creating a vision board, journaling, and creating a daily to-do list.

In addition to setting clear goals, Klauser emphasizes the importance of developing a positive mindset and overcoming limiting beliefs. She argues that the subconscious mind is constantly working to bring about what we focus on, whether it is positive or negative. Therefore, the act of writing down goals and intentions helps individuals focus their attention on what they want to achieve, and signals to the subconscious mind to begin working towards those goals. Through real-life examples and personal anecdotes, Klauser illustrates how individuals have used the power of writing to achieve their goals and overcome obstacles.

One of the strengths of “Write It Down, Make It Happen” is its practical focus. The book offers a variety of techniques and exercises that readers can use to apply the principles discussed in their own lives. For example, Klauser encourages readers to create a daily to-do list and to review it each night before bed. This simple practice helps individuals stay focused on their goals and develop a sense of accomplishment as they make progress towards them.

Another strength of the book is its emphasis on personal responsibility. Klauser encourages readers to take ownership of their lives and to recognize that they have the power to make positive changes. This message is particularly inspiring in a world where it can be easy to feel helpless or overwhelmed by external factors.

Overall, “Write It Down, Make It Happen” is a valuable resource for anyone looking to take control of their lives and achieve their goals. With its emphasis on action, personal responsibility, and practical tools, the book offers a roadmap for success that is accessible and empowering. Whether you are looking to make small changes or to transform your life completely, this book is an excellent place to start.

Yellow Pad Challenge V2!
DAY 3

Welcome to day 3 of the yellow pad jump start.
Yesterday I told you we would talk about intentions and the importance of scripting out intentions. When you say you intend to do something, you tell your brain you will do it.
Different Intentions
You will want to focus on two types of intentions while scripting.
The first type of intention is saying, “I Intend to XYZ.” You don’t have to go overboard saying I intend every sentence. My rule for scripting intentions is to focus on 2 or 3 big things I want to manifest.
I will write, “I intend to start a worm farm by next week…” I will then go on to write a few paragraphs about the details.
True intentions
The second type of intention is to write about things you will do. When scripting, try to weave in your day. Talk about how you will brush your teeth, walk your dog, or go to the store.
I wrote about the reticular activating system on the page you signed up on. The RAS helps us identify patterns so our brain starts acknowledging success. When we script something we will do, our brain recognizes this.
The RAS then helps us recognize patterns that lead to accomplishing our goals or actions that help us manifest whatever we are scripting about.
Today
Pick 2 – 3 goals that you want to accomplish. Write them as an intention. Talk about how easy they are going to perform. Start scripting for at least 10 minutes.
Make sure to weave in some passive intentions. What are you going to be doing today?
Reminder: When writing about your goals, write about some passive results. If your goal is to get a new job, what will happen after that? or because of it?
Will you celebrate with family and friends? Will people call to congratulate you? Write about the extra stuff. Give your scripts some life!

If you have missed the other days don’t worry! We have got your back. They are located  in the other newsletters you can find here

Look out for the next issue (Monday, Wednesday & Friday’s)
