A new angle is a bigger advantage for you right now than more effort is, and you are unusually good at finding one.

• Take small chances, not big vows. You do not have to be all in to begin. Approach a new thing as something to explore and you will spot the duds faster.
• Change the angle on the old problem. If something has been repeating, stop pushing on it the same way. A different approach beats a harder version of the same one.
• Pay attention at night. Dreams, the thought that surfaces on the edge of sleep, the thing that pops in for no reason. Write it down before it goes.
• Sit with the people who lift you. Not the whole crowd. The few who genuinely want it to go well for you. That is where a breakthrough is likeliest to come from.
• Use the skill you already have. You have something you do well that most people find hard. Bringing it out of hiding is what turns this month into a harvest.
• Forgive the story so you can leave it. You do not owe anyone a conversation about it. You just have to stop dragging it along behind you.
