Two of Pentacles

The traditional reading here is juggling and being overloaded, and honestly I mostly refuse it. I read this as work hard, play hard, a healthy rhythm rather than a warning. The figure eight between the two pentacles represents your exchange of energy, what you give and what you get, and in the good stuff that exchange is running well. When it does turn up as too much at once, look at his hat: sometimes there’s no choice but to juggle, and then it’s one hat at a time. Accomplish one thing, then the next, then the next. More often than not this card is telling me somebody actually wants to put the work in.
