I look at the King of Swords as knowledge, wisdom, and maturity — the king who’s been through the most battles, and that’s exactly where his wisdom comes from.
He also represents needing to practice knowledge, not just collect it. You can study something all day, but you only really master it once you put it into practice out in the world — the same way you can study a language for years, but you don’t really learn it until you’re using it where it’s actually spoken.
