Deeper meaning

He’s been through the most battles

Knowledge and wisdom, and I say those two together almost every time this card comes up. What I’d add is where it came from. I always say the King of Swords has been through the most battles in the tarot, and that’s why he has the most knowledge and wisdom. It’s earned rather than innate. Which is why the card isn’t really about acquiring anything, it’s about deploying what you already have. Time to use what you know, and to apply past experience to a new situation. He can also be law and order quite literally, so if you have something legal going on, read him that way. And sometimes he’s an actual person, someone wise in your life handing you good advice.

In the good stuff

You’re using what you know instead of collecting more of it.
