Something is being offered and you’re not taking it, because the last few didn’t work out. Check whether that’s actually a reason.
Most people read this card as apathy or boredom and I read it completely differently. He’s tried something at least three times before and he’s failed, and now he’s being offered another chance and he’s not accepting it, because he’s failed three times. Those three cups in front of him are the failures. The one coming out of the cloud is the new offer. And the resolution is simple. He just has to apply the lessons he learned from those three cups to this one cup and he’ll be much more successful. The failures were the tuition, and this is where it pays out. Sometimes it’s the grass is greener version instead, wanting what you haven’t got while ignoring what’s being handed to you.
