- Walking away from what no longer serves you
- Choosing not to settle
- Not knowing what comes next
Walking away from something that used to work. This one is a decision rather than an escape.
He’s walking away from things that no longer serve him, and the motive is the part that matters. Those cups did fulfill him once. He isn’t running from them, he’s refusing to tolerate them any more. I’ll be honest that this is a scary card, because he isn’t sure whether he’s going to find fulfillment or not, and I’d rather say that than promise you the payoff. The way I like to frame it is that walking away is itself a signal about what you’re willing to accept. Putting up with something you’ve outgrown is very bad energy to be sending out. It’s also the only card in the tarot with an eclipse on it, which is why it turns up so much around eclipse season.
You walked away and it was the right call. Fulfillment is on the other side.
