Keep putting wood on the fire
The Ace of Wands is my favorite card in the tarot, and I’ll tell you why. It’s that one thing we need sometimes to get motivated, the spark of hope or the spark of inspiration that gets us moving. But a spark on its own goes out. We have to keep putting wood on the fire to get it to grow, and that is the actual work of this card. The other thing people miss is the castle in the background. It’s meant to look like it’s crumbling, and that’s deliberate. Out with the old, in with the new. Same collapse you get on the Tower, just framed differently. And it’s bigger than one project. This card wants you living a passionate life.
