- Apathy, contemplation, missed opportunity
- Already having what you need — just combine it
In a reading: stop looking past what you have; the fulfillment you want is already available.
The Four of Cups is contemplation, even a little apathy. Some people call it the grass-is-greener card, and that can be true — he’s already accepted these offers and now another one is coming out of the cloud, but he still isn’t satisfied.
My own take, not traditional tarot, is that this card is really about mixing all these cups together. He’s trying to manifest something that will finally feel fulfilling, thinking he’s missing an ingredient, when really he already has everything he needs — he just has to combine it.
