🌟YELLOW PAD CHALLENGE🌟

Day 25: Mindful Eating & Being Present in the Moment 🍽️

Welcome to Day 25 of the Yellow Pad Challenge!

Today’s challenge is all about mindful eating and being present in the moment.

We often eat without giving it much thought, consuming our meals quickly and mindlessly. However, practicing mindful eating can help us savor the experience and appreciate the flavors and textures of our food.

📝 Your challenge for today: Take time to enjoy and appreciate each bite of your meals today. Whether you’re eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner, make an effort to be fully present in the moment and focus on the food in front of you. Write down how the mindful eating experience made you feel.

As you eat, take note of the flavors, textures, and smells of your food. Pay attention to the chewing process and the sensation of each bite. Take your time and savor each moment. This can be especially beneficial for individuals who struggle with overeating or emotional eating.

If you find your mind wandering, gently bring your attention back to the present moment and your food. By practicing mindful eating, you can reduce stress, improve digestion, and cultivate a greater appreciation for the food you consume.

Take at least 10 minutes to complete this challenge. Write down any insights or feelings that arise during the mindful eating experience, and how the practice of mindful eating made you feel. Commit to incorporating this practice into your daily routine moving forward.

By practicing mindfulness in all areas of our lives, including eating, we can reduce stress, increase our well-being, and become more present and engaged individuals. So let’s embrace the power of scripting and the practice of mindful eating to create a more mindful and fulfilling life.

“Mindful eating involves being present with your food, paying close attention to each bite and savoring the flavors, textures, and smells.” James Clear “Atomic Habits”

I’ll see you in the next newsletter for Day 26: Letting Go of Control 🙅‍♀️.

🌟Keep up the excellent work! 🌟

✂💪Cutting Strong Cords✂💪

By: Shane Webb

Have you ever had a connection with someone that just feels off? Like it’s holding you back or making you feel anxious? It happens to the best of us. But the good news is, you don’t have to live with it forever.

The practice of cutting spiritual and energetic cords is a simple but powerful way to release yourself from negative attachments. All you need is a small piece of paper and a fireproof container. Oh, and matches or a lighter, of course. Safety first, people!

So, write the name of the person you want to disconnect from on the piece of paper. It could be a friend, family member, or even an ex-partner. Whoever you have in mind that might be draining your energy in some form or fashion. Then, light that sucker up and watch it burn! I’m kidding, but not really. I usually fold it in half a couple of times, folding away from me to send the energy away. Then, I carefully burn the piece of paper.

While the paper is burning, visualize the energetic cord between you and that person being cut. Imagine it snapping like a rubber band. Say a mantra or affirmation to reinforce your intention, like “I release this connection with love and gratitude” or “Bye, Felicia!”

Once the paper has turned to ash, you can dispose of it in a way that feels meaningful to you. Maybe you want to bury it in your garden or scatter it in a park. It’s up to you. And don’t worry, you don’t have to be a super spiritual guru to do this. Just go with what feels right.

After the ritual, you might feel lighter and more free. It’s like you’re finally able to breathe again. And if you feel the need to repeat the practice in a week or so, go ahead and do it. You do you, boo.

Now, you can personalize the practice however you like. Maybe you want to play some music that gets you in the zone, light some incense, or hold a crystal that resonates with you. You can even write multiple names on your paper. The key is to use your intuition and adapt it to your needs. The universe will know what your intentions are.

Cutting spiritual and energetic cords can be a powerful way to release yourself from negative attachments and move forward with clarity and purpose. So, the next time you feel like someone is draining your energy, give it a try. You might be surprised at how much lighter you feel afterward.

“Toxic people attach themselves like cinderblocks tied to your ankles, and then invite you for a swim in their poisoned waters.”

John Mark Green
